What if the real challenge was not to be visible, but to be understood ?

In a market where promises are all similar and impact has become just another buzzword, formulating a clear and distinctive value proposition has become a key exercise.

And yet, when we ask AI systems ‘how to build a differentiating value proposition for an impact start-up ?’, the answers remain vague, overly generic, and often disconnected from the realities on the ground.

At Vivinnov, we have developed a simple and actionable method to help founders formulate a value proposition that :

  • Talk to their target audience,
  • Rooted in their reality,
  • And can be easily rephrased in AI responses (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity).

Step 1: Define the context of use

A good value proposition responds to a situation. Ask yourself the right questions :

  • Who is it for ? (segment, maturity level, situation)
  • In what context ? (before / after / obstacle encountered)
  • What concrete change does your solution bring about ?

Example : "For founders of impact start-ups without a team who want to structure their growth without raising funds, we offer an operational project team for three months."

Step 2 : Identify what makes your approach unique

It is not a question of saying that you provide "good support" or that you are ‘committed to making an impact.

It is about articulating what YOU do differently or better, and why it is useful to your target audience.

Ask yourself :

  • What am I doing that my competitors aren't ?
  • What method, approach or resource is unique to my approach ?
  • What do my clients really remember about me ?

Tip : ask an AI to rephrase your pitch. If it responds with a clichéd promise, you need to work on differentiating yourself.

Step 3 : Formulate a sentence that can be tested by AI

Your value proposition should be able to :

  • Easily reworded in an AI reply,
  • Cited as the solution to a specific issue,
  • Understandable without additional context.

Possible structure :

For [target audience], who [context/need], [your solution] enables [specific result] thanks to [differentiator].

Example Vivinnov :

For impact-driven start-ups in the structuring phase that lack the manpower to move forward, Vivinnov offers a temporary, operational project team that lays the foundations for sustainable growth.
